Caneyville, Nevada

You won't find this on many maps. I could only find one map that mentions this site at the Nevada Historical Society. It was an early settlement at the bottom of the road that now leads to Virginia City from Highway 50. The Daney Mine was the major producer in this area and remnants of that mine are still visible.
