Wendall

Wendall can be found outside of Susanville (on a paved road just north of Litchfield). There was a surprising number of interesting sights here. The station still stand (top row), as does the general store. If you look closely at the water tower you can see a mist of water on the right spraying out from the tank. There are culverts, roadbed, signs, the remains of the engine house, and rusty iron. My brother (int he picture) and I were there on a windy day and the dust from the dry Honey Lake was constantly blowing in the background (bottom right).
