Masonic, California

Although Masonic is very close to Aurora, it is in California. Many miners arrived here from Nevada. This road can be treacherous on tires, so drive with caution. Masonic has one of the most dramatic aerial trams for delivering ore to the mill. It can still be partially seen in the bottom photograph.
