North Fork

This ranching area on Four Mile Creek once had a population of 120 in 1900. Looking at the few remaining remembrances, it is hard to believe. It started as a stage top on the road from Elko to Idaho and sits right on Highway 225. It grew with the ranchers that settled in this lush valley. There once was a hotel, saloon, grocery store and school in operation.
