Rawhide Railroad
Like most Nevada railroads, this railroad was built too late to a mining camp that had too little gold. However, the company was saved when the entire downtown of Rawhide burned. They used this excuse to declare bankruptcy. Only a few miles of grading remain. Take the dirt road to the Rawhide Open Pit Mine. Turn right and go around the open pit mine. When you reach the farthest part of the mine, look on your right for these five mining claims.
