Sand Springs Pony Express Station, Nevada

This is one of the few Pone Express Stations left in the United States that you can actually walk around. It is just below Sand Mountain to the east of Fallon. One of the more interesting sites to visit in this area is the original well dug by Captain Simpson in his exploration of the Great Basin in 1859.
