Secret Government Installation

This is the story of two places. The one that was - which I think was Rocketdyne. Rocketdyne used this installation to test the Saturn Five rocket that took our astronauts to the Moon. The cement and pipes I thin are relics of that time in the 1960's. The one that is, is a mystery! Whichever intrigues you, just take Whiskey Flat Road off of US 395 north of Reno just past the Wild Horse pens. It is paved (although roughly in spots) the entire way. Kinda makes you wonder why they paved this road to nowhere, doesn't it?
