A look at these pictures shows you - nothing! Yes, there is little to see. But if you have an imagination.... Walk the original transcontinental railroad. IF you can't find the roadbed, look for plants to point the way. Find pieces of Chinese pottery shards far from the main area of town. Use the broken glass to help you figure out the era that the town was booming. Find the old mill site. Look for square nails - a telltale sign of an 1800's camp. And, yes, this location is another stone's throw from the Interstate!
