West Gate
The early emigrants passed through three opening in the hills of Nevada to the east Fallon. The third was called West Gate. Although West Gate seemed to have the least to do with the early emigrants, its history is still marvelous. And is all has to do with WATER (Bench Creek)! Supposedly the water for the mining boom town of Fairview came from here. Milling also took place as seen by the ruins of the mill. And ranching is just around the corner!
